Committes
Our school committees bring parents, staff, and community members together to support school programs, events, and student success. Each committee focuses on a specific area of need, offering meaningful ways to get involved and make a positive impact.
Social and Fundraising “SoFun” Committee
Social and Fundraising “SoFun” Committee
This committee plans and runs all social and fundraising activities for the school. This includes activities like Winter Market, Family Dance and Fun Fair. This effort takes a village so the more parents who want to be involved the better. There are jobs for all skills and all manner of time commitment on a per event or ongoing basis.
SoFun is led by Stevie Schenk (stevie@stevieschenk.com) and we would be thrilled to hear from parents and caregivers who are interested.
Outdoor & Sustainability Committee
This committee works to make our outdoor space fun, safe and sustainable! Whether tending to gardens or collaborating with administration on schoolyard improvements, this is where to get involved if you want to focus on improving the sustainability and outdoor space of our school.
Please reach out to Focal Cindy Hok (cindy.hok@gmail.com) to get involved!
This committee is responsible for community outreach! It benefits the council, our students and the community at large to have many families involved in SAC efforts. This committee will work on outreach and inclusion initiatives. Activities might include surveying and interviewing families at the school, representing community needs in council meetings, the School Statement of Needs and to administration.
Please email sc.warrenparkjuniorpublicschool@tdsb.on.ca to get involved. We can’t wait to hear from you!
